  Good book but could have done with better editing This story really made me pause and think about the fragile line between trust and betrayal. As I read it, I found myself rooting for characters who felt so real in their struggles and regrets. I appreciated how the author captured the fear and hope people cling to when they’re cornered by fate. Saira’s heartbreaking memories and Sajjan’s desperate choices stuck with me long after I finished.  The suspense kept me turning pages, but I have to admit the editing let the story down at times. There were quite a few awkward sentences and moments where the wording pulled me out of the tension. Some scenes could have been sharper and more polished with a better editorial touch. Even so, I enjoyed how the plot pushed me to question what I’d sacrifice for loyalty or freedom. By the end, I felt a mix of relief and unease.
