The Last Witness

πŸ“š BOOK REVIEW
The Last Witness by G V Subba Rao

The Last Witness is written by Author GV Subba Rao. It is a suspense thriller. The story is woven around a senior most ISRO scientist Dr Rangarajan and the perils he and his family has to face because of is work.

The plot is thick which highlights the involvement of political parties, CBI AND Intelligence Bureau. They attempted to tarnish the character of Dr Rangarajan for political gains. The talent of IIT is also focused upon.

Sithara, daughter of an ISRO employee has been portrayed as a strong female character who is the secret keeper of Dr Rangarajan and almost risked her life to restore his honour and integrity. The involvement of Jasmine and her daughter Niniya also played an important part of the missing link in the story.

The story reflects upon the lives of those scientists who dedicate their entire life for the progress of their country but what they get in return, brutal attacks, threats to their family and death in the end. Neither the scientist nor their family is safe.

The flow of the book is smooth which helped me to easily glide through the pages. One we start reading it becomes really hard to peel oneself away from it.

An engaging novel with a roller coaster ride. Definitely a great read. Readers who love thrillers should definitely go for it.
