Optimus

πŸ“š BOOK REVIEW
Optimus : Parts 1 & 2
by Arvind Raghavan Sooryakant Indrabalan

The story starts with four armed men entering the Directors office of United Network of Intelligence HQ, London. They were searching for a file on Subject One but couldn't find the director nor the file in his office. They tracked down the director and his family from the hideout and eliminated them all.

The Baron has a dream to create a perfect world. He wants to rid humanity of imperfection and build a world of super humans without any emotions in them. He has hired the world's best geneticist to work for him and create super soldiers. This new race he calls Homo Optimus.

Humanity at large is at risk. Secret Agent Logan, Riaan along with Jessic are seen heading the story and fighting to preserve the human race. The plot is super exciting. Everytime I think that I got hold of the story it rebounds back with a different angle.

The story revolves around the secret agents of UNI, Intelligence Agency, scientists and the conspiracy theories around them. In the world of secret agents and intelligence service where no one is to be trusted. The story will shake you up. The story focuses upon the greed of some people can go to the extent of making the human race extinct.

It is a science fiction. The entire book has been written in two parts. But I have a personal feeling that there are many more parts left for it. It is a fast paced action thriller. From the London HQ to the by lanes of Mumbai and Mussoorie the agents crosses half across the world in their pursuit. The story has lot more to offer than what is seen on the surface. It takes a strong grip on the readers and it navigates the unexpected. The book is written in simple english while the twists and turns keeps it going.

A must read for sci-fi lovers.
