πŸ’« Have u ever heard the whisper of a book? I have never heard, untill I started reading this book.

πŸ’« Bookshelf Whispers is a book written by Author Bhagyashree Ranade. The story is connected with an ancient house called Prabhu Wada. Prabhu Wada is a huge house with three floors. It has a open courtyard in the centre with rooms surrounding it from all sides. It is a residence to many cultures. People from different religions and culture reside together under the same roof as tenants.

πŸ’« The story revolves around Akinsa, who is a kabaddi player and resident of Prabhu wada and Emilie, a foreign exchange student from U.K. Inspite of the huge differences between the two of them, they fell for each other. Both coming from a different background, culture and society, will they have a future ahead ?

πŸ’« The author gives an ancient touch to the story through the description of the Wada. The author describes the joint family in the Wada in the best possible way. There are many characters in the book, each evoking a different feeling within us. The illustrations in the book are very beautiful and lively, which helps us to travel in the history and imagine the atmosphere then. The story is written in a simple and easy language. The narration is smooth.

πŸ’« Though the book is a short read but it gives us a lot to ponder over.
