πŸ“š Book Review

Title : Thinky Lines on Inky Pages

Author : Dr Aparajita Chakraborty

Language : English

Edition : Kindle

Pages : 219

πŸ’« Thinky lines on Inky pages is written by Dr Aparajita Chakraborty. The book consists of eighty poems. All the poems are of substantial size and expressed with emotions. They are written in a rhyming manner which sounds very lovely.

πŸ’« The book is a compilation of thoughts which is recreated in a new way to give the shape of poetry. It captures a vast part of our life. The author has tried to mention about everything in his poems in a detailed and captivating way. All the poems carry a deep meaning within themselves.

πŸ’« Some extracts from the book which I loved the most:

"Rich be a mother, poor maybe she,

Such a golden heart, nowhere else it can be "

" A good book and a warm cup is enough for one to find some peace."

πŸ’« I liked the poem " A Cobbler's Tale " which speaks about the hardships of a cobbler. I derive that the author has watched it so closely to write so accurately and deeply about a cobbler's life. It is a self reflection which teaches us to be aware of people's hardships who are around us.

πŸ’« "When birds used to sing  in spring " is my favourite poem too. It makes us realise how rapidly we are growing without realizing the harm done to humanity and environment in the process.

πŸ’« All the poems are crafted beautifully. I loved reading them. I am definitely going to recommend this to my friends.
