πŸ“š Book Review

Title : Echoes of Gasping Souls
Author : Gurucharan Singh Gandhi
Language : English
Edition : Kindle
Pages : 211

πŸ’« The onset of 2020 brought us more pain than pleasure. It was the year when the countries around the globe witnessed nationwide lockdown. Humanity was at war with the unseen virus. Everyone person had a different experience during the lockdown. Mostly people were locked down with their family and loved ones. But not everyone had that much luck. Some people were locked at awkward places with strange peoples.

πŸ’« The author weaves a gripping tale which revolves around four or rather we can say five strangers who are unknown to each other. Sitam - a Nepali who was an indian bureaucrat, Manoj - an engineer, Razia - muslim married to a hindu, Kulwant Kaur - an old lady on solo trip and Sunil - the hotel manager were all struck in the Hotel Landmark due to the pandemic. They were forced to live together against their will which they hated the most. Everyone reacted differently in this situation.

πŸ’« The story gets more intense and engaging as it proceeds further. It was a page turner. I couldn't stop myself untill I reached the climax. The entire book has been written in two parts. Further we find that the story has been classified daywise. This way it was more convenient to relate with the story.

πŸ’« The way the plot has been developed is excellent. The author has brilliantly woven an amazing story. The characters are well developed. The narration of the story is smooth and clear. The language is simple and lucid. I found the book cover attractive and extraordinary. The title is perfect for the story. It's a nice book, everyone should give it a try.
