Love is a very sweet feeling which fills up a person with lovely emotions. We have always known love to be very blissful .We have always looked at the brighter side but it has a darker side too. The author has beautifully highlighted the darker side in this book.


The story is about about Chayya and Kshitij, they both met through the matrimony sites which are very popular nowadays. In the beginning they fell deeply in love and enjoyed the company of each other. They would chit chat for long hours.

Chayya was in love with Kshitij from the first sight. But rarely things continue to be the same, so their relationship also began to tear apart as Chayya entered the dark world of Kshitij"s loneliness. She was in a relationship but still she was so alone. She felt half dead while half alive.

This is an aching story of Chayya in which we see how relationships drastically change and leave a person half dead yet half alive. It is believed that to make a relationship healthy it is required to fall in love with the same person again and again.

The book is a nice read giving a different angle. It takes two people to love and one is enough to destroy. More than love understandings are required ?? Discipline and self control also adds to some extent. Moreover getaways, exchanging gifts and surprises also helps to ignite the charm.

I appreciate the author to bring out this topic, which is ailing everyone in someway or the other. Nowadays its become a serious matter with couple. The book cover as well as the title is relevant to the story.

The heartbreaking story touched our hearts.
