The Whispering Delulu: A Psycho-Mytho-Sci-Fi Mystery Packed with Twists You Can’t Escape
by Sohil Makwana

Are the voices in our mind and ear a delusion or real?

The Whispering Delulu is written by Dr Sohil Makwana. It is a psychological thriller with a touch of mythology in it. We find a mixture of science in the fiction too.

"Kaliyug is the demon that resides within every human being."

The main protagonist is Mohini, who is suffering from memory loss, partial immobility and depression due to her recent accident and current situation. Her husband, Dr Rohit, assists her in all aspects but she starts suspecting him because of a yellow pill. Gradually she recovers her partial memory of the loss of her kids and starts regarding her husband as the traitor behind her current situation.

The human mind is very strange and full of complexities. When we let it free, it makes us wander to unknown paths and doubt even the innocent ones.

"Desire, greed, distrust, fury, hatred and arrogance: these are the six sins of human flesh."

The moment when I switched between the prologue and the first chapter, it hit me hard to see the transformation. The shift from Mohini as a superwoman avatar to her being restricted to a wheelchair.

The story has lots of surprises and unexpected twists. It will trick your mind and traumatize you untill you reach the end. A fast-paced story which will not let you rest until you complete it. It will set your heart racing until we reach the climax. The climax itself is a great shock for the readers. High voltage drama which it is highly recommended for thriller fans.

"Har ek manav ke andar ek danav hota hain. Kintu jo is danav ko bahar aane na de, wohi sacha manav hota hain."
