The Jallianwala Bagh massacre is still fresh in the hearts of millions even after a century. Flashes from the past events are still live in their mind. Our heart bleeds at the thought of this tragedy. We can well anticipate the condition of the ones who have lost their near and dear ones. 


How a joyful day of Baishaki turned out to be a black day in the history of India. How the British troops fired on unarmed Indians in the open space of Jallianwala Bagh, Amritsar. How this inhuman event was a turning point in the history of freedom struggle in India.



Operation Dyer written by Author Anirudh Singh is a remarkable book. We get to know all the details about the massacre and its consequences in details. The author has presented an story with two aspect: first from Aman side and the second from Dyer's. 


Aman who has lost all his family members in the tragedy. He doesn't have any motive to live except to take revenge against the culcript. And from here starts a new story of revenge....


It is fast paced and thrilling. While reading I could hardly anticipate what's going to happen next. It is entertaining and painful as well. The suffering of the people who succumbed to death was shown in details. 


I highly recommend this book to all historical fiction lovers.
