AYANAM

Image
📚 BOOK REVIEW AYANAM This is a compilation of thoughts in the form of quotes that feel genuine, from the heart, and written with a lot of honesty. I could easily connect with most of the pieces here as they feel like parts of my own life and even for the ones that don't directly pertain to me directly I could feel the relevance they'd have for someone else. There's one quote in particular that has my heart and I'd always refer to it. It says: “Smile at everyone every day without reason. Life will be more gratifying for you as well as for others.” Such a simple thought and yet so true. That's what the book is all about. Deep things said in simple prose. Loved it!

Mission Save Mars : How the Restoration of Earth Saves Mars

Image
📚 BOOK REVIEW  Mission Save Mars is written by Vidyasagar Mundroy. It is a science fiction and a sequel to author's first novel "Escape to the Galaxies". In the first sequel the people of Earth escape to Mars and other exoplanets when their own planet turned uninhabitable. In the second sequel the story starts with Mars which is currently in danger. The mass of Earth is reducing gradually day by day and the people of Mars are in shock when they learn that their planet has a threat of collision by Earth or its moon in the near future. In order to save Mars, Halik along with his team sets off on the mission to save Earth on his new spaceship. We further witness how the restoration of Earth saves Mars and makes it inhabitable once again. The creation of Earth 2.0 gives us a new light among darkness. The story is captivating and kept me engaged till the end. The main highlight of the story is adventure, determination, protection, restoration, transformation and danger. The s...

Revenge Instincts: A Review Where Family Secrets Unleash Legal Battles

Image
Families. We're bonded by blood, shaped by shared experiences, and often burdened by the weight of unspoken truths. In "Revenge Instincts" by Ravleen Sabharwal and Amit Dubey, this intricate tapestry unravels with a shocking act of violence, propelling the Chauhan family towards a dangerous precipice. It was a recommendation year back but I didn't think that I will pick it up but now I'm glad that I did. A Deceptive Calm Shattered The narrative opens with a seemingly innocuous quote: "We spoil ourselves with scruples long as things go well." This line subtly foreshadows the impending disruption in the Chauhans' seemingly perfect world. When their loyal employee, Shiva Apte, is attacked, the carefully constructed facade crumbles. This incident becomes the catalyst, unearthing a web of buried secrets that threaten to tear the family apart. Intrigue Simmers Beneath the Surface The beauty of "Revenge Instincts" lies in its ability to seamless...

Blood and Bombay Black

Title: A Wild Ride Through Brotherhood and Betrayal: My Take on "Blood & Bombay Black" by L.A. Nolan Today I'm buzzing with excitement to share my thoughts on the rollercoaster thriller that is "Blood & Bombay Black" by L.A. Nolan. Trust me; this book is like strapping yourself onto a speeding motorcycle and zooming through the world of motorcycle clubs, brotherhood, and betrayal. So, here's the lowdown on the book: Our hero, Alex Crossman, is making a comeback in this adrenaline-packed sequel. If you've read "Blood & Brown Sugar," you'll remember the Iron Horses and the mess they stirred up. Well, buckle up because things are about to get crazier! Sandeep Bohla, fueled by a serious grudge against the Iron Horses, is out for revenge after they slipped through the NCB's fingers in the last book. This guy means business, and he's not waiting for anyone's approval. Under crazy pressure from his higher-ups, he goes all...

THE FIRST WAVE BY DR PRASHANT NAYAK

Image
📚 BOOK REVIEW The First Wave: Life of a Covid Warrior Dr. Prashant Nayak does a fantastic job of bringing forth the emotional, mental, and physical toll that the pandemic had on doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. While there are many good things in the book, my favourite is the journey that the author describes at the end of the book- I could feel the tension in my neck worrying if he would actually be able to go home. The description of the entire journey is so picturesque, I felt like I was in the car with him and his co-passengers!
